Wireless Retail fraud - they run your credit and credit card for products you do not want Scottsdale, Arizona
As a former field manger, we were instructed to have our reps run peoples credit and use their credit cards to activate products they did not want and return them later. They also offer an insurance for the phones that are not honored - due to the fact they have not paid the insurance co. Plus they do not pay their employees properly.They also forced me to resign or be terminated for being absent while I was out on maternity leave.
This company is something else!!! Buyers Beware

Hello,
I just read that you know about fraud that happened at your store, and I was just wondering what you did about it. Did you tell your TM? How about the Mgr of the host store? Did you even confront the employee about it? It's all well and good that you told all of us how don't matter about it, but did you tell anyone who can do anything about it?
Also, who was it that told you nothing can be done about the commission that you are owed. Did you use the reconciliation process? Did you use the open door policy to find out if anyone would help you. Look, if you did all of this I have a really hard time believing that you were owed the money in the first place. I work at the Crystal Lake Sams. Call me, and if there's something that can be done about the money you think you're owed, I can help. If you just put things in POS wrong, weren't paying attention to your commission report and the time for you to reconcile expired, or (and I'm not trying to be insulting) added things up incorrectly, I'll let you know that, too.
I guess I have a problem with people who have been ripped off, but just complain about it on a forum like this, and don't actually do anything about it.

I had worked for wireless retail since June. Due to the buyout by radio shack I no longer work for the company. During the duration of my employment, I had a very high productivity level, and made alot of money... or so I thought. Everytime I recieved my commission check, I was shorted at least $1500. I figured maybe they would make it up to me, but no, I made just as much money as I would have working at fast food. I am now not recieving my commission that I had earned, as they say there is nothing they can do. They owe me approx: $5500. And yes, one of my ex- co employees somehow sets customers up "without credit checks" I recently found out when not one, but three customers came back with friends wanting the same deal. We dont do that. So, yes I do believe there is some fraud. Most Definitly.

YOU ARE 100% ON. I WAS INSTRUCTED TO & HAVE ACTIVATED DOZENS OF DOZENS OF PHONES IN THIS FASHION WHILE I WORKED W/ THE COMPANY.
AS LONG AS THE CUSTOMER DID NOT FIND OUT IT WAS ENCOURAGED. OF COURSE IN SOME CASES THE CUSTOMER WOULD FIND OUT & WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO SAY THAT THERE WAS SOME SORT OF MISTAKE.

you are soo right about that. I worked in the outside sales division for a while going to events and shows. and the regional and nationwide mgrs. would encourage that. I use to witness some of the younger sellsmen activate the max number of lines on a persons name if they activated one and keep them on for 14 days(grace period)
Also if a person was approved and they changed their mind, they would activate phones anyway on them. I had mentioned these tactics in one of many reports i see on here regarding wireless retail. They are a very shady company, but what do you expect from a company that was fronted by the wannabe mafia types??????
