I was also a victim of this company, I have learned that you shouldn't provide credit card information to every vendor. But in this case, the bank did act to protect me from further harm.

This company seemed like they might be okay to deal with. I believe you should try to give smaller local business a chance to win your business if possible. However, this company tried to make me rethink my ethics in this regard.

They lied to me about the product they sold me, a prepaid Cingular/ATT cellular phone, claiming it could be used on TMobile, when this wasn't the case, they told me they could fix it to work on the network, but it would cost more to do so. I was promised initially that it would already have the capacity and not need to be "unlocked." I asked for a refund and was refused refund or exchange and then lied about the original promise. When I reminded the owner of the promise his salesperson made, he told me to get out of his store and threatened to call the police. I wasn't rude or arrogant, I simply repeated what I had been told.

I never have been treated with such contempt or hatred before in my life. It seemed like the company felt entitled to treat customers like dirt. I pity this poor man, because his actions let me know how he feels deep inside about himeself. I filed the appropriate complaints with the bank, consumer protection agencies and the BBB, but I hope you take this as a warning not to give this story any business because they both lie, cheat, and even threatened to commit credit card fraud on my credit card. The quote was, "you know we can get the credit card info now"... from the previous purchase I made. When I contact law enforcement and cancelled the cards, the officer shook his head and said, low down.... I couldn't agree more.
