This company on Gigsalad that has done 300 to 500 parties trys to be High End is nothing but the opposite they are just rude in my opinion. I saw this ad that was looking for people on face book. To the best of my knowledge this is the company who placed this ad.Girls and guys wanted for jobs. Size 2 to 4 height 5;4 to 5;7, natural blue eyes or african  in Orange for Birthday parties. Young and beautiful 21 to 28, all that is illegal demands and age Disrimination. All the same wording as their web page is on this ad.

Since you hide your address and name its hard to tell so for the record lets talk about the general rule for this type of company.Lets start out with Discrimination rules. Sizeism you can not hire people by size. So all you people out there that have a little more padding Go apply,or talk to an attorney if you were not allowed to work for companies like this one. Then there is the eye color or skin color issue.Wrong you hire someone because they can do the work not there eye color. Then the height thing, tall people need to eat also so do short people. Sterotypes is wrong and not Classy, just the opposite. Now lets talk about the pay. Paying people 50 dollars a hour, and they provide their own stuff is called sub contracting.

The only problem is you can not tell a subcontractor when to do it or what to do, so this makes them employees. So all this payment plan is not acceptable either. Now lets talk about the costumes. They are trademark costumes that do not belong to you. Which means you have no right to do them and can not make money on them. Your whole site is false adertisment. Advertisment must be truthful and non deceptive.Advertisment must be fair and honest. No wonder you hide your address. How is anyone suppost to make a legal contract with no address or name are you even licensed? You say you are insured how, they do not work for you .Insurance is a three way deal you, the customer and the employee.

If there is a issue trust me when I tell you they will look at that employee record. So they may not be insured.  So what part of any of this is CLASS maybe a class act. All these are my personal opinions said in good will. Companies need to stop exploit all these young people who work for you. They do not need to be a size 2 by law. Making them responsible for all this if something happens at those parties because they don't no any better. We have not even mentioned what harm you are doing to the people you work for with all this deception and hiding facts leaves them open to harm and liability. IF I am wrong write and tell me.I would apologize.I am all for putting truth out for the public to see and the FTC could decide. For they look into false advertisment.

#4REBUTTAL Owner of company

Hi Gina,

I am the owner of Wishing Well Entertainment. Our webmaster found this report online this evening - I wanted to kindly point out that we are most definitely NOT the company mentioned on this website. The picture you have attached is for another party company in the southern California area that is also listed on the same website (whom we are also familiar with). We hire all kinds of wonderful performers for our events and parties, and would never discriminate against anyone. Some of the items you listed also do not reflect our business practices in any way (i.e. low pay for performers, not listing contact info, etc.) We have also never posted casting notices on Facebook.

At your next convenience, could we kindly request for an edit on this report so that it reflects the correct company that you have an issue with? We are listed on GigSalad as well, hence the possible confusion with the other company in question. We would greatly appreciate it!

Any additional consumers (plus the author of this report!) are more than welcome to visit us and see our work at www.wishingwellparties.net

Thank you so much for your attention to this matter!

Doesn't an employer have the right to refuse to hire over weight

An employer can insist that a job applicant be qualified to do the  job, likeable, and personable, but any criterion which       excludes an entire group of people of race, religion, sex, people  with disabilities, or larger-than-average people is                 unacceptable by discrimination rules.

It is not discrimination for them to advertise WHAT THEY NEED!! And you can whine and complain but NO ONE is going to hire someone for a part that they DO NOT qualify for. I.E. Say a 300 lb person thats going to be trying on smaller sized clothers. You dont have to like it but they can advertise for what ever they like. Why you might ask, because thats what they need.
