WLI-Reservation Rewards Rip-Off aqquisition of credit / debit card without permission Shelton Connecticut
I found a charge on my bank statement for RESERVATIONREWARDS for the amount of $9.00. I was surprised that I'd not noticed it for the last 4 months, but they somehow got my bank information and had me 'signed' up for their travel services. The odd thing is that the 'sign' up date is very close to a travel date to Las Vegas, and I'm wondering if they have a way to aqquire bank information from hotel reservation information. Regardless, I did not authorize this company to access my bank funds in any way. Others report difficulty and long times in getting cancelled from this company, and the only way is to close out the bank account and open a new one. I'm not waiting to see if they respond quickly, and am closing the account ASAP. This is a crime and sadly, there isn't any way to hold this scum accountable, so we have to look out for ourselves and limit the damage.
