WLI Reservation Rewards ripoff, but got money back! Shelton Connecticut
I got my credit card bill to find a charge for the company WLI*RESERVATIONREWARDS 8886885995. Nine dollars. Luckily I saw the charge on the first month, because here is how I got my money back..
I called the company by the number provided on my bill. Sure enough they had gotten my information and my credit card number from me making a reservation on hotels.com (warning to all of you). The gentleman I spoke to explained all the great things for this reservation.com rewards program. He then also explained I have a $10 reward bonus for me to use.
Well, I then asked the guy if he could apply the money they graciously expended for me to use to pay back my credit, and that they could keep the dollar on me! I received a confirming e-mail on my cancellation, and my $9.00 credit on my credit card bill.
