WLI*RESERVATION REWARDS - ROAMANS A REDCATS USA COMPANY RIPOFF OF CREDIT CARD NUMBER UNAUTHORIZED USE Internet
10/25 received an e-mail from WLI*RESERVATION REWARDS with a member # telling me they had billed my credit card xxxx (last 4 numbers).
Sure enough $9.00 charge 10/23. I had no clue who or what they were.
Called credit card company and disputed charge immediately.
Called number on e-mail to find out where they got my credit card number and told them I never authorized their use.
After many questions they told me they got my credit card number from Roaman's (catalog clothing).
Roaman's is a REDCATS USA company. Other companies are: Jessica London, BrylaneHome, BrylaneHome Kichen, Chadwick's, Lane Bryant Catalog, Lerner Catalog, KingSize, La Redoute.
In Septmeber I had ordered from Roaman's, received inferior, misrepresented merchandise and returned it promptly.
Apparently Roaman's gave/sold my credit card number to WLI*Reservation Rewards.
They are going to credit back the $9.00 in 3-5 days.
After I made very clear that I had never authorized Roaman's to release my credit card info to anyone. Nor had I signed up for any other services at the time of my Roaman's order.
WLI*Reservation Rewards had tried to tell me at the time of order I had agreed to their offer.
Hope this helps someone.

Today I called to order a bathing suit. This is all I wanted. It was on sale, and I had a coupon code to receive an additional 30% off.
The operator kept wanting to sell me more stuff.
I kept telling her "No, all I want is the bathing suit". This went on for about 15 minutes.
"Great news - you qualify - ect. ect." and I would keep repeating "No, all I want is the bathing suit" over and over again.
She kept wanting to sell me more bathing suits and cover-ups. I know this is her job to sell, but after SEVEN TIMES of me saying "No, the bathing suit is all I want" she should have laid off.
At the end, she wanted to send me cosmetics for $4.99 shipping and handling. I told her No, she wanted to argue what a great deal this was. I would tell her no, again and again. (I know better. If I agreed to this the company would have kept shipping more cosmetics, and charging my credit card.) She finally got the point.
Then, she wanted to give me the total, and said "have a great day, thank you" and tried to hang up on me when she was done. She did not ask as she should have if I had any coupon codes or gift certificates, or if I wanted express delivery. I had to speak fast, and let her know about the 30% off that this particular book was offering on one item. She then let me give her the coupon code.
I thought good customer service was you never hang up before the customer does. At least that is what I was taught.
I will never order by phone to this company again.
I will keep a close eye on this credit card, also so there are no fraudulant charges.
