We received our credit card statement on October 23, 2004 and there was an entry with a charge of 9.00 from WLI*reservationrewards and we couldn't figure out why that was charged to our credit card because we have never dealt with this company before by either regular mail or on the internet. Any way I decided to check this company out on the internet and saw your site and I am glad.

We called the toll free number of that reservation rewards and asked them how they obtained our credit card number. They said they got it from a Genealogy Company. Well I do family history but I do not pay for any Genealogy sites and did not sign up for any membership with anyone. I am not a member of rservationsrewards either. They said someone from our household confirmed my email address twice to reservationrewards, well there is no one else living in this household but my husband and I and neither one of us filled out anything confirming my email address. My husband doesn't even use the computer. It is amazing how people get ripped off.

I even have spamblocker and scamblocker on my computer. Anyway that company has credited the 9.00 and our credit card company is also aware of what happened and they are sending us a form to fill out. I feel were were lucky to catch this before it got out of hand.
