Wli*reservationrewards unauthorized withdrawals from checking Internet

Wli*reservationrewards has deducted $7.00 from my checking account for the last 2 months. I have never given them my account information and have always been very careful about whom I give this information to.

I have tried to call the number listed on my bank statement, but all I get is a busy signal.

I found out that this is a charge incurred when you accept a supposedly free offer for a $10 movie coupon from Reservation Rewards, an internet marketing firm. If you look very closely at the fine print of the offer, it does indeed say something about needing to cancel your membership after a free 30 day trial or you will be charged... I was charged a monthly charge of $10.00.

I called the following number:

800-732-7031

If you call this number and hit 0 enough, you will be connected to a representative.

I was able to cancel my "membership" at this point without too much of a hassle. The woman on the phone was actually very polite and apologetic.

It's still a rip-off though, I'm glad I only lost $10.00 before I noticed it.

I agree with what was said about this company. My situation was that I made a valid purchase from another company which I have absolutely no complaint about; however, that company had a survey attached to it which was from reservationreward. I filled out the survey. Through this survey and my purchase from the other company, reservationreward was charging my credit card $9.00 per month.

I never made any purchase from this company nor did I ever receive any benefit. I contact reservationsreward and made my complaint known. They said that they would recind my so called "membership" and rebate $36 within 3-5 days. I then contacted my credit card and disputed the amounts.

A single item among many items on a card statement can be overlook. I keep all my statements so that I can go back and trace; however, I will not discuss all charges with my wife so that it will be easier to check. Also, I will not be filling out any surveys for anyone.

There is minimal information given here about the source of this ACH automated withdrawal. If you do not recognize them, they are called: THEIVES.

After doing some strange Google advanced surfing with the snipet of information you gave me, I recieved 370 options to join Internet/Web related sites to recieve rewards. Have you become a member of a new club or organization? Did you just purchase something online? Sometimes when you make a purchase, you inadvertantly get tossed into an automated rewards program, which you may never use or even know about. If I had done a general search, I would have got rejected or just GOOGLE BOMBED. (It's harmless) You just get a massive amount of info.

Wli*reservationrewards is not a name. You state that they are listed on your "bank statement". Is that an "online bank" or the conventional ones we are all familiar with, in the old fashioned real world. Either way, you have to shut that account down, because someone out there, imagines you selected this option. Possibly, they believe their own LIE.

If you can locate a more specific name, web site, business or club, I could give more specific results.

If possible, remove the ACH option from your bank account, so that the bank can block ALL ACH transactions. Now if you pay something with a check, and this is their method of withdrawing your payment, that cannot be stopped.

Specifically, this can work for those random ACH withdrawals, where they have no Check number to enter into the system. They may have illegaly retrieved your checking account number, and that's their way in through ACH and than your ATM. Obviously, this place did not use an individual check number or you would have found a cleared check. Also keep track of your debit card, if that is your method of banking.

Let me give you a Google example of what I found: "Get paid while you sleep! success; FREE TOOLS, RESOURCES, REWARDS, MONEY MAKING...DISCOUNT HOTEL RESERVATIONS! You will reap the rewards!...it is associated with something you already know!" (this from www.mgaweb.com) The bold caps were in the original text. This is just an example of something you might have unknowingly accessed, when online shopping or filling out a form on the world wide web--all the way out there some where.

Again, I emphasize, close down that account before more money gets taken out. ;)

I can be of further assistance, with more information. :)
