When I first placed my order online I was already familiar with the company when I bought software from them over 10 years ago. When I found that they were still in business I purchased one of the 4 programs that they offered. This package claimed that it taught 5000 words. It never said that there were only a few hundred words or that they were the same words that they were using over 10 years ago. Even the audio discussion uses the same low quality recording of the past program that I purchased. The only thing that has changed was the hugely inflated price and a slight improvement of the graphical interface.

Beyond this I was not mailed the correct package. When I first examined the discs that they sent I saw they were still using the same lettered volumes to break up their words just like they did over 10 years ago. And the volumes they sent were not the ones ordered. I was dismayed on a number of levels. First, I was sent volumes that would not fall into the category I asked for. Second, these were near exact replicas of volumes I already had. Third, I was troubled over the deception that this would be a better product with more words that would be worth the price. Ten year ago I paid less than $30 a volume. Today it is $100 a volume.

When I complained I was offered a reduction in price and two volumes I did not have when the newest version came out. Later I called them back asking for a refund. I never receive what they promised and I didnt feel like waiting for it. Their return policy states I have an evaluation period and since I never received the product I was meant to evaluate it should not have been a problem. But I was refused me a refund.

I was told that my only recourse was to write a stamp letter to the: Board of Directors. Before my lettered reached them they sent two more volume discs to me labeled: This Package Cannot Be Return. Upon opening the package I discovered they only sent be one volume I asked for and it was not the newer version.
