UPDATE: Click Here to see how World Benefits contacts Rip-off Report, stating they will give REFUNDS to unsatisfied customers, working harder to avoid employee & customer misunderstandings.

World Benefits called me at home using information from a credit card application I had filled out online. I was under the impression I was signing up for a credit card and the $299 was for all the initiation fees and such. I had my wife talk to them as well and I know for a fact that while they were recording our conversation I was told this was an application for a credit card not some benefits package.

After waiting nearly six weeks (was promised 15-20 days) for what I thought was going to be a Visa credit card with a $2000 limit, I received a book of coupons and other bogus stuff but no card. We immediately called them and he said we were wrong in our expectations. He also said we would only receive a $79 refund despite the packet having a document saying we would receive a "full refund of the amount we payed" which was $299.

Their customer service is very rude and amateur. Two of their reps even hung up on me and every one of the five I talked to was rude, telling me I wrong about what they were offering.
