World Benefits will offer you a sweet deal on a credit card. 15 years fixed APR of 4.5% on a Bank of America credit card, guaranteed, if you pay the 15 years annual fee up front totalling $299. They promise the card to be Fed Ex ground shipped within 15 business days of drafting your account.

I began to become a little worried after about 3 weeks and not hearing or seeing a thing, so I called the customer service number they gave me when I confirmed the order. I got some other service, who immediately had the World Benefits number readily available, as though he had it memorized. Thats when I began to worry.

I called the number 1-800-588-6010 and it was busy, so i kept calling and calling until it finally rang... takes about 15 minutes if using a rapid redial feature on your home phone. After about 5 minutes of waiting on hold, usually a non-english speaking customer service representative will answer the phone, asking you to hold several times, each time asking you to please hold after retrieving information about your account. Their answer always is, "Oh, sorry we had a bit of delay", or "Oh, sorry we had alot of confusion in the shipping department".

If you ask for the manager, he is never there, doesnt matter what time of the day it is, he is "always out to lunch". When you tell them that you would like your money back, they tell you that the payment was non-refundable. I have read some of the other postings on this website, and since it has only been about 45 days, it sounds like I can stop payment through my bank by filing an affidavit.

If this helps anyone, I just got off the phone with my bank, and they are sending out an affidavit that I must fill out, and return before the 60 day window. They say they may still be able to get it back after 60 days, but it is a little more difficult. If submitted within 60 days, you will receive your money back within 3 business days, and believe it or not for no fee at all.

If anyone has anymore information about this, or on how to get your money back (preferably with interest), please post that information for all to benefit.
