As with all the other reports submitted before me, mine is the same. I was contacted by World Benefits by phone offering me a credit card for $2000. All I had to do was pay a one time fee of $299.00 to receive the card.

Against my better judgment I was asked for my bank acount information. I was told they would withdrawal the amount $299.00 on Dec. 31, 2003. I would then receive the card within 10 days fo the payment. My bank records show the withdrawal on Jan 2, 2004. I have yet to see the card, almost 30 days later.

I have tried to contact them with the phone number they gave me during the original phone call. Every time I call I get a busy signal. So I then tryed going to the web page also given to me during the original phone call. That page does not come up at all. So I performed a search and found this sight and other people with similar experiences.

During my quest to get in contact I came across a second phone number. When I called that number also, I had the same experience as the other number. A busy signal.

Not that it matter. After reading several of these reports, it looks as if there are as many phone numbers for this company as there are different names. To my count 8 different numbers.
