World Benefits Scammed me out of $299.00, now say that their promise was for credit repair, not a credit card. Champlin New York *UPDATE .. EDitor's UPDATE info: Rip-off Report has had several complaints that victims are not receiving the refunds promised. We have been in contact with the Company and have made them aware of these issues. They have assured us that refunds are being given to those who are providing them with all the correct contact information requested by them. They have also provided confirmation of proof of over 2000 refunds to date. They, again, apologized for the delay and reported that credit to your account could take as long as 4-5 days.



Rip-off Report is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will, we'll see. We will continue to investigate more in this situation, and we will be posting an UPDATE to the main Report at this web address: https://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=76605

Spoke with a Mr Dan Lewis in Finance Dept after being hung up on twice. Told that the $299.00 is for a DYI credit repair CD-Rom. There is no credit approval, never was and I am not ever to expect a re-fund, never ever, and please stop calling us because there is nothing for me but the CD-Rom.

All of you RIP OFF REPORTERS, well, you are all the one and the same person trying to defame their wonderful company.

I have a question though. Have they ever come through on their initial promise to anyone? Is their a person out their in the wild blue yonder that is satisfied with this companies service?

Good luck to you all. I stopped worrying about this some time ago. I just like to call and bug em once in a while.
