I went into World car Kia on 35 south and asked for a automatic the said I could only afford a standard and if I wanted an automatic I needed another 2000.00 for because I wanted a new car I agreed. when It came to signing paper work the finance manager said I had to get the extended warranty or the loan may not get approved. in fear that we may not get vehicle we signed paper work, and a week later we received a letter stating we did not need to purchase any extra coverage to obtain financing. I was upset with Kia and said I could have used the difference they charged me towards the automatic. it took going to the Better Business Bural and going to as much management as I could. after I Broke down and started crying in front of the general manager Bob for them to acknowledge me. they will claim to have helped me I went through the management and trainer Ken and still they were not wanting to help me. and wer willing to give me an automatic after the fact but this is not true they wer willing to argue in front of there future customers. The trainer Ken said stop acting like a fourteen year old and grow up you signed for a car now pay for it. This is a very bad company do not trust any of the management team, they will not help you they stick to their associates story whether they are right or wrong. I do not recomend this company to any one. I will never return to this place or recomend them them to anyone, when a company sales a car they should want repeat business. not this company the try to screw as many as they can thats how I feel. after looking at this reporting system I would have learned they did this in 2002 and are still practicing not taking care of te customer.

On 08/22/09 the finance manager helped me cancel the extended warranty and the Gap. One of the coverages that could not get credited back was exchanged for a couple of accessories for the car. The coverages were canceled but a service fee my be charged and the care payment remains the same it could have been a lower payment if they were never added to the purchase.

As far as trying to get at automatic they will claim they tried to get me a car to my likings but my credit showed a late house payment,  this is the same type of credit I had when the sold me the 5 speed.

I gave up this argument because it was time consuming and stressful. If you decide to buy a car from this company or any where else look at service reports like this site offers so you could make a good decision and extended warranties are not needed in order to be financed so do not get misled into buying them If you do not want them.
