Complaint Review: World Data Publishers

In Nov 2002 I received a call telling me they had an order to ship and asking me to confirm our mailing address. We are a large company and orders are placed by many individuals.

It is not uncommon to get address confirmation calls. I confirmed the mailing address. I then received a book, which we refused. We have been receiving phone calls for the last 3 1/2 months telling us we have to pay this invoice.

We keep telling them we didn't order it and they say by confirming an address we authorised an order. Their practices are unethical. Please tell any one you know in business to watch out for these calls. They sound inocent, they are not!
