World Financial Group Will Hire Anyone to Handle Peoples' Financesd San Jose California
I went to an interview at WFG. The guy who interviewed me wanted my personal information such as Social Security #, date of birth and credit card # which I very foolishly gave to him. I didn't bring a resume or any references and was not dressed very professionally. This did not seem to bother WFG. He told me he was interviewing 8 people of which he would chose 2 to come back for a second interview. He told me that after a second interview he would tell me if I was accepted for the job. The only information they wanted to check on was a background report that they would charge me $100 for. I asked if I would be charged for the background check if I didn't end up getting the job or if i didn't accept their job offer.
I spoke to a friend of mine the night after my first interview and he told me he knew about WFG and that they weren't to be trusted and that I shouldn't work for them. I called WFG first thing the next morning to cancel my second interview. Later that day I was called back and told that I had been accepted for the position even though I had never given them a resume or references. I was surprised that they would allow me to manage their customers retirement accounts without knowing anything about me. I told them thank you for the offer but I'm not interested.
Later I reviewed my online bank statement and saw that I had been charged the $100 background check fee despite not taking the job or showing up for the second interview. I have since been in the process of disputing this charge and getting the word out that no one should take a job with WFG or allow them to see any personal financial information.

If anything, it was your fault that you didn't ask any questions.
And if you felt pressured, then be up front about it. This is the reason why people who never make a success in their lives blame others. I know "WFG" didn't do anything to you, so it's not really the company but it could be the person who interviewed you. Remember, the company runs itself. People are their own private contractors with the company. And people are people--people are stupid.
Luckily though, if you felt the way you did, I would have dared you to report or sue the company. Why? I guess because the judge would laugh and the lawyers would laugh.
Hahahaha.

Keep in mind that WFG, like other financial companies are tun to stay in business. They need a massive number of recruits so they can keep those that make deals and make them money. This is true about any company and mostly about MLM's.

I read a recent whiner about a World Financial Group issue with $100.00 that he give to them.
First of all, if you had issues about the sound opportunity you were considering, they did not hold a gun over your head stating give us the $100.00 or else. Now he wants the money back after he decided not to pursue the opportunity (apparently it was a two interview process -- he did not have a second interview -- and yet he gave the $100.00 check to them anyway)
Again he was not threated with his life with a gun over his head to give them the check. Think about what you are doing before you do it --- do not claim a company such as WFG is a bad one when you were not smart enough to understand what you were doing.

I don't know where all you victoms get your information, but I was a COLLEGE GRADUATE BA IN BUSINESS AND AN ASSOICATE IN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT and this company changed my life!
The company has the best products in the industry. (do your research) I have been here 14 years and in my WORST YEAR I made the same as a corporate america job plus a second job! I recruited 2 people last year so all that scam about recruitinging is bogus. I don't get paid a dime to recruit someone.
Wake up victoms of normality, do your research, attend the financial seminars available. There is only one every day and a field manual with hundred plus companies in it to do your research. We have the best products, six step plan, active money mangement, helping families when the economy is down.
My blessings go out to you people who don't understand the power or the company. I suggest you try another financial services companies. I have changed my entire life here helping people. I have protected peoples assets when the economy is down, helped people get out of debt, provided instruction on the proper amount of term, and permant, disability, and long term care insurance, provided direction in estate plans.
In my experience the only people who don't make at least a living out of this fabulous company are the ones that are not self motivated, don't want to take an extra step, want to do as little as possible and get paid. Those people should work for corporate america and leave THIS GREAT COMPANY ALONE!!

As a member of WFG and former employee of other insurance/financial service firms I can say that WFG has some of the BEST training possible.
They don't pay for your licensing..and why should they? Most people who join even with different types of sales firms get recycled shorly after getting their license and it just goes to waste. Paying for your license helps show value and insures that we actually use it.
WFG provides AWESOME field trainings. Depending on your upline, you'll have amazing leadership. Fast start pushes new members to go on at least 10 field trainings within their first month.
We have training seminars TWICE a week and often have longer classes and seminars a few times a month with the biggest producers in the company. Believe me, WFG's agents are well informed and well trained if they choose to be.

MLM is nothing new in financial services. Primerica is the king of it and there are many other companies comming out with their systems. This company, WFG, is going to have the same problems that Primerica had. The main thing to understand is that when you work for a real insurance company, you get your licensing paid for, you get a 2 week intensive training on products and prospecting, then you ride with your manager on appointments, and you attend a sales seminar every week. The idea is that you get trained to be a successful agent. These companies MLM dont have this training and support in place like the establish companies do. So we in the field of financial services look down on them.
