World Insurance Company - worldinsco.com Misrepresented and lied to by World insurance rep and the company will not pay either of my claims Tampa Florida

7 months ago I had an insurance rep come to my home and sign me up on the Flex 100 insurance policy. The only reason why I took it was because the rep had guaranteed that they would pay for everything which was a complete lie. I submitted a claim and they found every reason to weasel their way out of paying. This company is so unethical! If you want the false sense of security for you and your family that if something happens to you everythign will be paid for and then when somethign does happen you are left out to dry then go with World. Now i have a huge medical bill that I can't pay including my mortgage. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

I agree with pointg52325 to a certain extent. Whenever an agent is writing a policy, they have the ability to set certain provisions on the policy. What a few unethical agents will do is remove aspects of the coverage when they are quoting it to you in order to bring the cost down. This is true not only for World, but any other company. In all honesty, if the coverage seems too cheap to be true, it probably is. But at the same time, you have a responsibility as a consumer to understand what you are buying. If you are unsure of what you are reading, contact your state's department of insurance. Im sure they would be more than happy to help you understand what you just got yourself into. Whenever you buy a policy, READ IT OVER WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR INFORMATION!!!! Dont just rip the card out and throw the binder somewhere, pay attention!!

First off i am sorry to hear what happened to you that obviousley is not a good situation to be in.
As far as your complaint goes, i dont deny that they didnt pay for any of your claims. However, you should not be mad at the company (WORLD) Unfortunatly there are agents out there who misrepresent the product, your agent told you that everything was paid for and it was not. What specifically was not paid on your part? I know the plan inside and out because i sell World Insurance along with other companies.
What i am trying to say is....if you went an baught a new Ford truck and the salesman told you it had remote start, air, cruise, 4wd, and then you went to use it and it was not there, your not mad at ford are you? they just built the product they didnt sell it to you. Its the same with your situation, World built the plan its all in black and white. They cannot control what people who represent them say and do. What you can do and i know World would appreciate it (from experience) is call world let them know the agents name and what state, and file a report. their compliance department will be all over this guy, and if he gets more then one complaint then they will pull his ability to sell their product. I know this because i recieved a call from one of Worlds staff who recived a phone call about one of my FORMER agents. I looked into it, and needless to say he is no longer with my company. So again i am sorry that this happened to you, but you need to be fair with who you are mad at. You definetly dealt with a crooked agent and anyone can appreciate your frustration there.

On the flip side who do you have for insurance now, and how do you like them?

ps...i know this says i am an employee of the company, but i am just an insurance agent who represents them, and know in my marketing their product i have never had a complaint from a customer about coverage, or lack there of. I have been doing this for just over 4 years now.
