World Leadership Group is now setting up booths at recruiting events at major universities. My son was lured in by these snakes at the University of Maryland on-campus recruiting event 2 years ago. The company made grandiose promises about all the money that could be made, and he only had to do 2 transactions per month. Right! They told him they were sending him to training in the Mid-West, all expenses paid, (based on his resume), but they needed a credit card as a show of good faith, for any incidentals. Ahhhh, the credit card! The sales pitch was so convincing that my son and his friends fell for this scam. Then the billing started and the harassing e-mails and phone calls by his mentor. The fine print in all this is that you can't cancel the billing, and forget trying to get anyone to call you back. These con artists are preying on college students now. Parents, watch out! Google this company and you will find story after story of their deceptive marketing practices. After numerous parents complained at Univ of MD, they were removed from future attendance. Universities nationwide continue to be notified about these low-lifers. Don't be fooled! If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. It's a scam x 100!
