I used to work at "Traffic Designs" or "World Market Systems" whatever you want to call it. What a waste of my life! Everyone inside is disgusting whether you're a wannabe rapper, a druggie, or just plain so into money, you call yourself "Christian" while you know you are taking people's last dollar. I can't believe people do this, I can't believe they have changed their name 3 times and are now finally over seas, because they have tapped out their resources here in the state. They must be stopped somehow.

Beware of the first call, or the first time you call them. You will hear a tape of a Forrest Webb Sr. who makes you melt and think, "God has answered my prayers. " After that somebody who has probably been making fun of you accent (or name, or local) will come back to the line all perky and then ask, "what did you think?" From this point on they are NOT listening to you. They will get you to buy a package. Either 149 (silver) , 288 (gold) , or 477 (platinum).

If you are thinking of one, but won't commit, they will say, "How about you just start with the silver and you can always upgrade later when you see how well it's working for you." IF you still don't bite, beware they can drop all prices down to 99, 188 or 377 not to mention some different prices in between, give you "free search engines" or even some extra affiliates.

After you choose any of these packages, you are then led down the hall to be "upsold." You will hear about different packages for search engine submissions and told it will really help you. When in reality, if you go with the top package you are out 1500- ask about the refund- no kids this is not included.

Be careful, if you don't bite, they will get you with the same trick in the beginning, "how about just the first package- just to get going, you can always upgrade." Don't be so stupid, don't do any of them...

SO YOU THINK THAT IS THE END: "All you have to do is advertise, and you will have a free coach help you with all you need." What they mean IS after you see your site, or need help building it, a coach will contact you to go over even more packages ranging from 2k-4k and EVERYTHING in between! If you flip out telling them you didn't know you had to do this, don't worry, they will then tell you about the little packages from 500 to 1k. And if you don't even have money for that because you spent all of it on the latter before, do not fear, they have emails for 100 dollars and OMG free advertising help which is as good as what you buy.

NOW if you are still going and still buying things because you fell for the same BS over and over and you kept starting with the "lowest package" because you were going to "see how it went" and then "were going to upgrade" isn't the next call really going to piss you off.

You are now being called by the last person (except for customer service when trying to stop you from cancelling) and they are going to lie to you about some new BS advertising project they have in the works. And you are "the lucky person chosen to try it and to get in while the rates are good." You will get free websites once again, and they will look good. You will be taken to different sites to prove how many people are looking for what you have to offer and you will be so excited to have so many people helping you. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!

Once again, I ask and plea to not fall for doing any of it! People put in thousands and thousands all within a few weeks, and at the end by this point, you are putty in some young 20 something or 50 something year old man's hands. All these people rest assured are seeing big checks every month. Some even 20k or more. And on average probably 10k atleast. You aren't asking for big dollars unless you can handle it so keep that in mind.

Hear the BS. Ask the questions of HOW does it work? Why are you not listing the right address? Ask to see 5 people's sites, and laugh when you see they are all the same! Ask to see a back office of a page, even a generic, and see if ANYONE can explain it, especially your coach. After they do, since you know it's recorded, ask to be transferred to 2 more coaches, they are all right there, and hear how different they all respond. NOBODY KNOWS because it's all fake!

Do not let such arrogant people stand in the way of you and your life. You want money, sell your soul. You want happiness? Then spread the word of all injustices big and small. From scams like this to kidnappers and rapists. They are all the same. SELFISH UNGODLY LIVING ON THIS EARTH FOREVER LIARS

Good luck :)

CURRENT WMS EMPLOYEE......

#8UPDATE Employee

Sat, November 29, 2008

Ok...first of all, WMS is NOT a scam. I honestly would not be working there if it was. That is not the kind of person that I am. I believe in honest work equals honest pay. Karma IS the golden rule in my life! I have worked at many tele-marketing companies, many of which were scams and I only lasted a couple of days. I have worked here now for almost a month. I know it doesn't seem that long, but it is plenty of time to get to know the job and what the actual company is about. One thing I would like to point out is a counter to Jack's remark about WMS taking peoples "last dollar." This is absolutely not true. You cannot take what someone does not willingly give. Also, the difference between this place and many other telemarketing companies, is they actually DO CARE if your living on SSI or some kind of disability. It is even in the script that if your living off of that little of income that this program isn't for you.

Another thing I'd like to point out is the packages Coaches offer you. OF COURSE they're going to offer you more packages and another way to make more money. It's a BUSINESS! How else do you think ANY company gets so big??? Because they have a great sales team behind them and continued to ask for more money. Now, you CAN and WILL get business without these packages. You CAN turn them down and your bizz will be fine. YOU will just have to go out and find your OWN way of advertising. Just like everything else in America, you pay for convenience, so buying your advertising through our coaching dept. is not only effective, but convenient. However, that is not to say your own advertising will not work. You DO get paid for sending people to us, and you DO get paid by your affiliates....ebay, amazon, sony, and travelocity. If this program didn't work and was a "rip-off" as Jack says, do you honestly think those MAJOR companies would jeopordize their good name and fortune for a much smaller company like ours? I do not think so.

I'm not here trying to sell you and make my job easier by any means. Sales is sales. No fortune 500 company would be what they are without it. It's an important part of business and employs the most people out of any other trade or market. This is honestly a decent program. It is what you make it. If you put time and effort into this, and actually ADVERTISE your site, you WILL make money. Now would I have this as my only business and rely on it completely for my roof and bread? Absolutely not. But as a supplemental income or extra cash flow coming in? Sounds good to me!

Many people ask me why I myself don't do this? Well for one, I'm not a business-minded person. I don't feel like doing the work it takes to make a business flourish. I love the fact I can have my 9 to 5 and a steady income every friday. Plus, I'm 25, pregnant and moving soon and it's just not something I'm interested in. Which is not to say it's not good. I'm just not interested.

I hope this has helped give a balanced answer to your queries and gave you some food for thought. I only wrote all of this because there's too much bad press out there when it comes to sales jobs and they really aren't that bad. Some of them anyway. I know alot of people have been ripped off and it is hard to decipher who's good and who's not, but sometimes you just have to have faith. Not everyone is out to get you or your wallet. Good luck to you in these tough times. I hope weather you go with WMS or not, that whatever you do works out for ya!

Thank you all for your comments about World Market Systems, I just had a call from one of their representatives trying to sell sell sell me on it, and as I was listening to the testimonials, I was also googling them on the net. I was able to tell 'Ben' sorry but I've googled and there is no way I'd lose money with this type of scheme. He said 'okay, thanks ' and hung up immediately.

I'm so glad I could read these comments, because I was almost convinced this company had an easy cheap solution to work from home.

Beware of rich smooth talkers. Constantly, using your name, repeating things back to you and saying, "why don't we just start out with the smallest package, just to get you started and you can always upgrade later when you feel more comfortable/ or you see the money you are making." HA HA they use this mechanism of pressure sales A LOT!

1. You will be called or you might have called them from an email you received or an ad in the paper. Either way you listen to a tape recording a voice and sound that instantly makes you feel like a winner. As soon as it is finishes, a sales consultant jumps back on the line as if they were listening the whole time. They don't need to listen, as they are laughing the entire time or off smoking a cigarette. They come back asking, "soooo what did you think? Pretty good huh?" Then the go through packages: silver, gold or platinum. 149, 288, 477. If you don't go for any of them that is where the question of starting out small comes up. If still no go, they can drop the prices to 99, 188, or even 377. YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE TRAINED TO DO IN THEIR ALL COMMISSION BASED JOBS TO MAKE THEIR MULA

2. Depending on what a "lay down" you are, you will be asked about search engines, told more packages, and say, "you want to get started right away with advertising" Some people put out a total of 1500 on their first call which is the most they can ask for. don't forget, you might be asked to "start with the smallest package" here too.

3. COACH TIME! They make small talk... the good ones can go for an hour without even talking about the business, you feel comfortable and then BAM you are being hit up for 2k-5k! They don't care because they make a 25% or so of whatever you spend. If you say you can't afford it, they go to smaller packages from 495-1k and can still go down to 100 dollars. THE MORAL IS don't spend anything, because they just want money from you and will always try to get more if they can.

4. They might call you back the same person and ask for even more money for the exact same advertising you just bought, but now they will give you a free site. DON"T BE STUPID TWICE!

5. You think you are finally going to start making money, when yet a third new voice is calling you... Telling you that you're special and there is some new technology you have to check it. And that's it's totally up to you with what you want to do with it, they just want to "go over it with you" Let me tell you, you are hit up for another 1-4k for some type of precious GUARANTEED HITS which is "sooo much better than pay per click" I'm sure you'll even see some "fake proof" on different sites if you "can sign on right now" to see.

I don't want anymore people getting hurt from this. The world is bad enough out there with criminals and rapists and school shootings. Why do we need grown men out there ripping off our families, our world? STOP AND MAKE SURE ALL PEOPLE OVER SEAS YOU KNOW FIND OUT ABOUT THIS COMPANY AS WELL!!! The name has changed because they are bound to get caught. rest assured the millions they make every year pay off good laywers, don't lose your dreams to frauds!

FACT: Websites are almost free to build, ask your "rep" that and they will respond with some lame answer. do you own info: it's free, and domain names are only 10 dollars or so a year. Why pay for it? and if you need advertising why not pay professionals for it, not children or druggies. GOOD LUCK
