It started by helping a friend who got really excited when she got the notice in the mail about a "Free $1000 Shopping spree" .

After going to the Auto dealer and getting her certificate, we tried looking up WOArewards.com on my computer. After a few days and several tries we went to BBBonline.com and got another site, freegiftsamerica.com. We tried that. It worked.

Then we read about the for-profit processing plus shipping and handling. We were going to purchase 12 items at $492. The fees were $166. It stopped there. Then I somehow came to this site.

I would be willing to see a lawyer and do all the price checking if there is enough interest in a class action lawsuit. I probably would need records of you order statements also.

See if this website can put us in contact.

Milton: I have spoken to several lawyers and they have stated this is a "deceptive marketing scam" as you have already figured out. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE OTHER LETTER. When a company basically claims you get something for free (they might as well get rid of the certificates, but the certificates help the scam.)and pay the processing and shipping well that is a scam. You can tell the the P&D equates to the price that you would pay at a retailer online ( I used Shopping.com to compare many online retailers) or at a local store for most of these products. I did mention to a laywer about a lawsuit...but the cost for it would be large for the possible loss anyone could have had. Also the lawyers said that you would not due a class action suit for this type of crime...I forget the details of it, but class action would be out of the question. THe best thing you can do now (unless you have money to sue) is tell every one. I am talking with a local news station and If the auto dealer in my area doesn't stop giving these out they may due an investigation report. Also report World of america to BBB, FTC, AG, Resellerratings.com, and etc

This is a wonderful opportunity to receive many items at a fraction of the cost. WOArewards is upfront about there being a 'Processing, Shipping & Handling' charge. I did do some research and price comparison and was very satisfied when I found that if I ordered all the items that I was interested in ($1000+), my "P&S&H"cost would only be approximately 30% of what I would have to pay in the stores or by having the store ship the items to me. It is understandable that when a person hears "free", they would think that they would not have to pay for the items, which is the case here. However, the items do have to be packaged, shipped and delivered and WOArewards does let us know, very clearly, that there is a fee for these services. And, when I can get my items at 30%, I do not feel 'ripped-off', especially as I am realistic enough to know that nothing is free in this world, but a good offer like this is close to it.
