Complaint Review: World Perfume-Global Marketing

What brent was saying is all true.I went through traing, did my overnites, did my friday, s**t i did 10 and 21 on my first overnite and friday.I got my office after selling fake perfume, wich it is fake, you have to sign a contract with world perfume stating that you understand it is fake,but told to say it is real.After 16 weeks of doing this,They give you openers.openers are bottles that you sell to open your office.Your settle up is for $11 but they make you settle up for atleast $17, i did not know why until i found out that it is your business.your name is on everything.so you are making $6 profit per bottle to pay for phones, misleading ad's, desks, radio, chairs, etc....You have to make sure that johnny gets paid his money every tuesday or you will be shut down.How can they shut you down if you own the business?anyway, you dont make $30,000 a year, or get full benefits, or even two weeks paid vacation. How can you get two weeks paid vacation when you have to be there 7 days a week.I ran the tempe office.Actually, i owned Five Star Marketing.I was trained to tell people that it was a training center and they were there to get trained to be a manager of a sales office.That it is not true. I was a sales office. I got paid off of every bottle my "Trainees" sold. You are there for sales. Thats it people.Yes, they have you rip up papers every two days wich has sales and how much money was made. There is a whole lot more. I was blind through this whole mess, they treat you like a king if you can sell this fake perfume.I have lost alot, and almost lost my marriage and two kids over this scam.They dont care about you.Only when you are making them money.

lets see i'll start from the begining after you get hired by DAN CHASIN OR DEREK MASON they'll begin to tell you about how much money you'll make and how much they make.

they'll tell you that your gonna train for 6-12 weeks and during that time you'll make $200-300 a week selling perfume business to business. but you end up barely breaking even if your lucky, because no business will buy the crap they sell so you have to sell it out of your car in parking lots & gas stations.

next they say you'll work mon-fri 8-5 witch are good hours but they don't say is what i'm going to tell you i'm going to start from wednesday and go throught tuesday because this is how that keep people in to the job and keeps them from quiting wednesday you'll work the 8-5 but what they don't say in that you have to go to wing because wings the the only time to really get to know you fellow employees and bosses they buy you hot wing and sometimes a beer good infulance on me seeing how i was 18 and they were giveing me a cold one ever half an hour

thursday you'll once again work the 8-5 but then findout that everyone needs to learn how to sell at night so they give you a quota or goal to hit at night it's anywhere from 3 to 10 depending on how long you've been in training and if you don't hite it you wont get the promotion you need to advance throught your training program so most thursdays you'll work from 8 am until about 11-12pm maybe earlier or later

then friday comes and they'll tell you fridays the biggest day of the week for sales so you once again have a goal and your goal will be anywhere from 5 to 21 and friday you work untill you hit your goal i've never seen anyone hit it by 5 pm when were suppost to get off work i've seen people stay out all night long trying to hit their goals and i myself have stayed out all night long even after i had my goal because they thing i should sale more and help the people i'm working with.

then saturday your day off!!! WRONG!!! saturday you have promotions for those who hit their goals everyones about half awake from the two days before some people are going in to the office with about 8 hours of sleep in the past 48 hours
you play stupid games and get yelled at if you look tired and the ask everyone if they wanna go on a road trip they say it's payed for and you make more money on the road and that it's alot of fun and if you don't wanna go they yell at you for not being committed so you'll give in and go and find out your gonna go 300-400 miles away from sunday to tuesday

Sunday, Monday,& Tuesday on the road trip you do nothing but sell perfume it is not payed for and you do not make any moke and lots of times lose money.you work every second from when you wake up at 8:00 am to call you boss until 12:00pm when you finally can get your hotel you do that for three days strate and thats your week working for dan and derek and world perfume

then next thing you should know about is the biggest lie of all they say that you have full binifits health, dental, ect well you don't not even if you get a office after training

and then if you get throught training like i did and actually become a DC manager like dan and derek you find this out that your screwing the IRS and that if you get cought it's on you because the perfume you sell is only worth $6 and you sell it for $19 thats a rip off
