World Shoppers-USA; Dan Strauss, Human Resource Manager Deceptive, crooked behavior New York New York
I received a very official looking letter from World Shoppers-USA, informing me I had been selected to become one of their representatives in some shops in the area. The pay is $140.00 per hour for training and my time, which should take about one hour to complete. Enclosed with the letter was a Cashier's Check written on Fifth Third Bank in the amount o $1,875.00 which is to help me with my Secret Shopping Assignment. The stores I would be doing the secret shopping in are Sears, Wal-Mart, a Money Gram. The purpose of the job is to evaluate the customer service experienced.
The letter is signed by Dan Strauss, Human Resource Manager
I called the phone number and found the number did not exist. In bold letters it is stated that I must call the number to activate the check or a stop payment would be put on it. They even assigned me a Rep I.D.
Seems like a lot of trouble and money on their part for nothing. A waste of everyone's time.
