I found out today I had been getting ripped off by these scum suckers for over a year now. I went looking on my bill and saw a charge for $19.95 for voice mail...well I am already paying for voice mail through PacBell. I have seen this charge once or twice before on my phone bill and kept trying to find out who these people are, with no results.

I got their phone number the 800-228-0452 from ILD today and I got the same message "please call back in 10 min". Well I called for 1 hour straight, hang up, redial, hang up redial, hang up redial with no results.

So today I called my phone company and said something has to be done. She said how long has this charge been on your bill I commented since February (which was the first time I noticed it), she went back and said well actually this has been going on since 2001.

She put me on hold and totalled up the amount I had paid to these people, $318.55. I have paid them almost $320 without even noticing!

PacBell was very helpful in this matter. I asked her to put a 3rd party billing block on my bill and the FCC will not allow phone companies to do this. So anyone can send them a bill for your phone number and they have to put it on there. But what you can do is call your phone company have them send it back.

PacBell sent back all $320 worth of bills...I had a $400 phone bill cause of these people and could never figure out why! They also said they will put someone on to monitor my bill every month and whenever they see these charges they will have them sent back. So I suggest you talk to your phone company, they WILL help you!

I also found out that you can change your phone number and they can not bill your new number. They bill to your phone number...not your address, cause I have moved since they started billing me, but I kept the phone number. That is how they do it folks...so either call your phone company every month and get them to take the bogus bill off or change your number.

I want to say thank you to every one who has posted a report before me, without you all I would not have known what was going on today...thanks so much!
