I have been billed since July 2001 up until now, March 2002, for a service that was ordered and canceled in the the same month.

A representative called July 2001 to offer the World Voice Link 800# service. I accepted, and was given a pin # to set up the account, however, it never worked. I called to inform the company of the error, and was basically treated as if I lacked the the intelligence to enter in a simple pin#. Because I realise I am human and capable of mistakes, I politely took the instructions from the CSR, and thanked her.

I tried to set the service up again the next day, but it was not succesful. It was apparent that the error was on their end. So I called the company and what happened on the phone was enough for me to know that this company was not for me.

Customer service could not remedy the situation and so I did the logical thing... I cancelled the service. ( a service I never had any way).

I have been billed every month since! They refuse to credit my account. They even refused to give me their Corporate Address. They would not let me speak to a supervisor. They hung up on me repeatedly. I have spent many hours trying to resolve this and I don't know what to do.

My name is Tracy and I work for a telecommunications company in MN. The only thing I can STRONGLY recommend is to notify World Voice link that if they do not respond to your many requests that you have no choice to go to the California Municipal Utilities Association. This body of government is used to handle utility disputes from unsatisfied customers for the state of CA. Each state has it's own type of Utility board which will investigate the company at fault and respond to the customer first hand. Usually a threat to turn it over to the board is enough to get a quick response.

I need help on how to recover from this World Voice Link Scandal. I just want a stinking credit for the service I never used. My phone co. will not let me close my account properly without paying on this. H e l p P l e a s e!!
