I've read all the rip off reports about WWCS and we need to give the DEVIL his due, He has a good program for people new to the car bussiness, I'll give him that. However if your thinking of becoming a trainer please contact me first I'll tell you Gods honest truth, the good and the bad and there is some good I did say Some. Peter Ferrigan runs ads constantly in the automotive news trying to recruit new trainers (the advertisment is very attractive) when you call Pete he gives you a list of trainers to get in contact with , he however loads their mouths with what to say to you he will also give you a list of refrences to contact that by the way are his personal deals he has done who will tell you great things about his company. Thats the hook, line and sinker. He on the other hand doesn't tell you that there is a $ 4,500.00 fee.

Payable by cashiers check only. No credit cards of course. ( Due to the fact that you can despute them and who would want a paper trail for taxes!!! )Go Figure. If you are lucky enough to become a WWCS Trainer Pete will send you on a few deals, if you don't do well you are out and also out of your money. There is nothing you can do because you paid with a cashiers check. On the other hand if you do a decent job you might get lucky enough to get a few more deals until he hires some new trainers and puts them to work instead of you. ( Ken Carver Petes Assistant will of course tell you its slow or that someone complained. )

WWCS is the master of munipulation they will tell you the dealership is paying your travel expenses and in fact rarely they ever do. I have worked with WWCS over 5 years and over those 5 years probably know Peter Ferrigan beter than his own mother. There are plenty of articles on rip off.com about WWCS and with so many and all so simular in nature there has to be some truth to what we are screaming. Please contact me personally before you commit to Peter Ferrigan and WWCS. I can put you in touch with dozens of people who feel the exact same way due to personal experience. Call Me (((ROR REDACTED PHONE NUMBER AND E-MAIL ADDRESS FOR SECURITY PURPOSES)))

Hey i agree this is the biggest rip off. I have always been the type that want to put this people in jail. I might just have the ability too. He did this locally just a week ago. Several of us are getting things together to prove this is a scam.

ANY CHARGES AGAINST WORLD WIDE CONSULTING ARE BOGUS

#8Consumer Suggestion

Fri, May 22, 2009

I cannot believe someone would have an issue with Pete Farigan or World Wide Consultants as I was a contractual employee who worked for Pete's Comany quite successfully I might add for over one year. The only reason I left the Company is because I was offered contractual employment by an OEM and it was the middle of the Hurricane Season which had been particularly brutal for Dealers. Pete always honored his word, the staff was always there to assist me, and I got exactly what I was promised. However, I can say this: Any kind of contractual employment has specific actions that must be taken each and every day one works for that Organization. For example, at the end of the week trainers working for World Wide need to send their remittance into the Corporate Headquarters. Why is this such a big problem for people to understand? The Company is entitled to that remittance becuase they are the ones that set the training opportunity at the Dealership up for me. I NEVER missed sending my remittance into the Company headquarters. Another issue is that Trainers who were hired in good faith by Pete would destroy the Company's 27 plus year history and reputation by accepting any Tom, d**k and Henry into the class so they could make money. Placing money over one's reputation is called greed and many a trainer has fallen due to this. However, and I want to make this point for the discussion at hand: I owed Pete when I left the Company some money which I promised to pay due to him allowing me to pay my fee on installments. Therefore, I still had a balance which I still plan to pay the Company. So, in conclusion, the material is the Company's, the dealership contact was generated by the Company, and all Pete asks for is for the trainer to send in the agreed upon remittance which is in the contract. Does not seem hard to me. Why is is for you?

I worked at WWCS in Charlotte, NC calling dealerships everyday trying to get trainers set up at dealerships

YES it is a total rip off, I worked at WWCS in Charlotte, NC every week we call dealerships everywhere in the USA to get them to run the add and get the trainer out there. What a total scam! Also with every booking we get for a dealership to get us to run our ad we get a $100.00 for every booking we made, then the rip off. If we did get the dealership to run another ad and get the trainers out there the next time the same dealership used our services I only got like $75 or $50 dollars. Then when someone quits these became the so called "house" dealerships and nobody got paid. I sure hope these crooks "Pete Farrigan" has to pay restitution. He is a liar, scam artist, and other things I cannot mention due to TOS of rip-off-report guidelines. OH yeah, WWCS is not located in the same building off Monroe Road Charlotte, NC anymore? I wonder why? Do a search and you will see Pete failed miserably at a taxi service and him and his wife Tanya owe back taxes..

HA HA serves you right!! Did I also mention, he tells every new employee after 90 days you get health insurance. Another Lie!

Stay away from this company and do your research..by the way, BTW-Be wary of their references. Why would WWCS give a bad reference to any one wanting to use there services??

THE ULTIMATE IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE

Anyone who has been in the car business for a long time knows how good it would be to get out and get your life back; maybe even with a little say so in how you live. Along comes WWCS. I sent my resume. Of course they were impressed !. Of course I was invited to their hqs. and of course all of their references checked out.
I was lucky enough to stumble on to a dealership locally who had used them. I guess its the payback for us sales managers that hire 5 hoping to get one good one. I didnt go. I didnt give up my money but to show you how people still need that dream here I am looking. Am I ever glad you all wrote the reviews you did. If I can help anyone else please just ask.

READ REBUTTAL WITH CAUTION

#8Consumer Suggestion

Thu, February 07, 2008

FIRST, I HAVE SERIOUS DOUBTS AS TO THE AUTHENTICITY OF MR TUBBS REBUTTAL. IF HE DID ACTUALLY TRY TO TAKE STEPS TO REVERSE HIS COMMENTS I SUSPECT HE MAY HAVE DO SO UNDER SOME TYPE OF INTIMIDATION.

MR FERRIGAN LIKES TO THREATEN LAW SUITS & CAN BE QUITE INTIMIDATING WHEN THE NEEDS BE.

HOWEVER, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD THIS, OR ANY OTHER CLAIMS AGAINST THIS MAN OR HIS COMPANY (WHICH IS ONLY 1 COMPANY: MANY MANY NAMES) BE TAKEN LIGHTLY.

99% OF WHAT HE STATES OR ADVERTISES IS FALSE.
HE HAS NOT BEEN IN THIS BUSINESS 23 YRS. I THINK HE STARTED UP SOMEWHERE AROUND 1991 GIVE OR TAKE A YR. NOT QUITE 23 YRS.

ANYONE - & I MEAN ANYONE WHO HAS ISSUES WITH THIS MAN, HIS WIFE (WHO ALSO OWNS SOME OF HIS BUSINESSES) MUST - AND I STRESS MUST BE WILLING TO TAKE STEPS TO BRING EVERYTHING YOU KNOW TO THE ATTENTION OF GOVERNING BODIES IN YOUR STATE, NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA AND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT & IRS.

ALSO - LETTERS TO AUTOMOTIVE NEWS SHOULD ALSO HELP AS WELL AS ANY OTHER ADVERTISING MEDIA WHOSE COMPANIES HE CONTRACTS WITH.
THIS MAN IS A MENACE TO SOCIETY AND MUST BE STOPPED.
IF WE CAN GET HIM INVESTIGATED BY THE IRS I ASSURE YOU THAT WOULD BE THE END OF HIM.
HE WOULD PROBABLY DO JAIL TIME FOR EVASION OF TAXES; PERSONAL AND FOR ALL THOSE COMPANIES HE LOVES TO BRAG ABOUT.

I NOTICED IN ANOTHER COMPLAINT ON THIS SITE HE IS NOW USING ANOTHER NAME: UNITED SOMETHING. THIS JUST GOES TO PROVE HE RAN ANOTHER COMPANY INTO THE GROUND WITH DEBT. IN THE LAST 16 YRS HE HAS CHANGED NAMES AT LEAST 6-7-8 TIMES. THE ONLY WAY HE WILL BE STOPPED IS IF YOU PEOPLE QUIT SEEING HIS WORLD WITH THOSE ROSE COLORED GLASSES. YOU AREN'T STUPID - SO QUIT DOING STUPID THINGS LIKE HANDING HIM OVER YOUR MONEY! YOU'VE BEEN SCAMMED - WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

Rebuttal To Accusations Made By Scott Tubbs

#8REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, November 27, 2006

We at World Wide Consulting Services are proud of our 23-year history of providing quality services for the Automotive, Marine and RV industries. It is our number one mission to honor all of our agreements with our associates and clients. We are currently the oldest and most successful company of our type in the Nation.

World Wide Consulting Services provides new assignments to all available associates on a weekly basis. Mr. Scott was provided steady work throughout his 5-year affiliation with our company. The only time Mr. Scott did not work was when he declined assignments. It was later discovered that when he declined assignments, he was usually conducting training seminars in violation of his covenant not to compete.

Mr. Scott accusations are a jumble of contradictions and inconsistencies. For instance, Mr. Scott, by his own admission, was with the company for over five years yet he states Pete will send you on a few deals. He also states that you won't be informed there is pre-payment required for a small supply of training materials. If we didn't tell you, how would we collect the fees? He also failed to disclose that your initial investment is usually recouped after the first or second assignment.

Finally, World Wide Consulting does spend a great deal of money advertising in the Automotive News. Typically for every ad we run and only after a long and exhaustive interview and selection process we may find one or two qualified candidates. Unfortunately, unscrupulous individuals like Scott are sometimes able to elude our screeners and make their way into our company.

Mr. Scott caused problems and created controversy at nearly every assignment he was sent on. When we could no longer tolerate the damage to our reputation, we made the decision to terminate Mr. Scott. It is our opinion that World Wide Consulting Services provided Mr. Scott with a much higher standard of living than any other available option would have afforded him.
