World Wide Travel ripoff Deerfield Beach Florida
Worldwide Travel Center, Ripoff-sham vacation voucher company.
After donating my car to Kars 4 Kids I was told I would recieve a 3 day 2 night hotel stay. After a couple of weeks I got avoucher in the mail from Worldwide Travel Center indicating that Kars 4 Kids uses this company for booking the vacations of their patrons.
I was told to select "1 weekend" and "3 destinations." Of these they would find a hotel and book the stay. They said they only work with Radisson and Ramada hotels. If I want to change the date there is a $25 fee for the reschedule, otherwise I would need to send in a check for $50.00 to reserve my spot and a signed letter with my credit card numbers giving permission for the hotel to run my card for a "required security deposit." They required both the check and the credit card, each for $50.00.
I complied and in a couple weeks I received my check back in the mail with a letter stating that there were no accomodations for the dates I requested. Now I am supposed to start the whole process over, however, I must use the original voucher they sent out, no copies to resubmit my request. They told me to white out the voucher and either put in "3 new destinations" or a new dates of travel.
I find it absurd that they cannot find a hotel in the three cities I listed and are incapable of allowing for alternate dates. Since there are really restrictive usage dates for the voucher I have a strong feeling it will expire before they ever fulfill their promise of the 2 night hotel vacation. I would be very cautious about donating to Kars 4 Kids or working with WorldWide Travel.
