I hired World wide Van Lines to move my household from DE to MS in August of 2008. I was told a string of Lies to numerous to mention from a salesperson named Phindy. I figured out the lies when the moving experience began a day earlier than scheduled.

The movers were to show up Aug. 08,2008 they showed up Aug. 07,2008, didn't argue with that( better a day early than late). There were two 26 feet trucks(1 a U-Haul and 1 a Penske), I was told that there would be a semi with a crew of 6 to 8( 1 worker per truck). I ended up helping the 2 man crew, I was personally ready to get them out of my home.

I was told to make sure that I write the delivery date on the paperwork, I did(Aug.15,2008). I did not receive a copy of the bill of ladding when my items were fininshed being loaded( I was told they did not have a copy to give me). Needless to say my furniture did not arrive on the 15th of August. I made numerous calls to world wide van lines and to the driver. Never could get an answer as to why my furniture was not in Mississippi.
It was only after contacting the Attorney Generals Office in the state of Delaware and filing a complaint about this company did anyone talk to me.
My furniture was still in DE! I then filed a complaint with the BBB.

Long story short, My furniture finally arrived on September 13,2008, Thiry-seven days later( yes 37 days). I had to call the police here in Mississippi in order for the drivers to unload my furniture, they wanted payment first. In my contract it states payment Upon delivery. The police after looking at all of my paper work told these guys to unload my furniture or go to jail for theft. They unloaded and I paid them $0 dollars! They had broken the contract 3 different times.
Also from talking the Atttorney General's Office in Delaware this company has an address in Lewes, DE but is physically located in Del Ray Beach, Florida, which is perfectly legal due to Delawares laws governing to corporations. Go figure! Delaware is also a TAX FREE state.
