Complaint Review: MCI Worldcom Wireless

WorldCom Wireless MCI won't refund my credit balance.

We moved from Baton Rouge, LA, to Houston, TX, back in May 2001. At that time, we cancelled our account. We had a credit of $61.67. Rather than receiving a refund check, we received monthly statements indicating the credit balance. We called Customer Service, on several attempts, and finally got through to remind them that we had canceclled and inquire as to how to get our refund. We had to get a refund check by requesting one in writing and submitting to their address on our statements: PO Box 1178, Nederland, TX 77627. We included the amount of credit, when the account was cancelled, and our Cancellation # 1488113. Nothing happened. It's Novemebr now...still nothing. And, when you call their Customer Service line, there are no longer any customer service reps to talk to....you have only two options: listen to current balance or make a payment with a credit card. We still have a credit....don't know how to get it, though!
