I was at the time a local truck driver, so I need a phone to keep in contact with dispatch and home. I place an order for worldcom wireless service package ADV600BD. This plan was to include a phone and 600 free minutes per month of airtime for $49.99 as well as free nights(10p-5.58a) and weekends(12:01am Sat-11:59p Sun). When I recieved the phone, it was already activated(If it we're to be delivered to the wrong address, It is hard to tell how much the bill would be.), but for the wrong area.

I live in Ohio, it was activated for a local in Arizona. That was a real problem since all calls would be in 'Roaming'. Once the phone is properly switch to my local area, I then began to use the phone when needed. The first bill came in. The only calls I didn't get charged for we're the night and weekend calls. I wondered what happened to my 600 minutes.

I placed a call to customer support. I was given a conformation number for my case. The rep. told me everything should be alright after we reprogramed my phone for the second time.

The next bill came in. I was outraged. It was for three times as much as the first one. Again I call Worldcom Wireless. Again a conformation number and reprogramming. Third bill was for three times the second. No more I said. I've had it.

Worldcom wireless refused to correct the billing errors. That was in Jun of 2001. To this day I refuse to pay for calls that are suppose to be included in the plan. To this day I deal with the $1,882.44 scar on my credit report.
