I am furious. I consider myself a reasonable and "street-smart" individual. After responding to this telemarketing "deal" I have found myself to be in a world of unjustified bills and rude and pushy "customer so-called-service agents."

I for one, clarified with the telemarketer two or three times that if I was not interested in the phone or the contract at stake that I wouldn't have to send back the phone and was confirmed. I also clarified with the telemarketer that the billling would only begin after the contract was signed and sent in and nothing due before then...and was confirmed. I again double checked that I would be charged for nothing after the trial period unless I signed the contract and was again confirmed.

Needless to say, I have received two bills now stating I owe money on this contract that they have set up without my signature or use of the cellular phone beyond the trial period due to "keeping the phone past the 15 day trial period!" The MCI representative claims they are not responsible for their telemarketer service company and yet they claim I am responsible for this bill at stake!

Again, I have read from other reports that I am not alone in my long periods of waiting on hold to talk to a rude and pushy customer "service" representatives that will only treat me as though I am the liar and will refuse to allow me to talk to a supervisor. And, on top of all of this...they even spelled my name wrong on the bills! It's nothing like somebody being rude and messing up your name everytime they talk to you!

My lawyer has advised me not to pay the bills due to the fraud that is occuring. The Better Business Bureau is working on this case as well. I just want this to be cleared up and I want MCI to be held responsible for their deceptive advertising.

PLEASE HELP!
