Complaint Review: Worldcom Wireless

Worldcom Wireless, unable for months to contact their customer service department to cancel a cell phone service.

I had ordered a Cellular Telephone a year and a half ago for my mother. When she tried to have the cell phone service discontinued in October, 2001, the customer service representative had told her that she could not cancel the service since it had been originally placed in my name.

I have tried and tried to telephone their customer service line, as listed on their billing statement, however, I have been unable to talk to anyone in their customer service department.

They either have a busy signal or a pre-recorded telephone answering system that reports that they are receiving an unusual amount of teleponte calls and cannot alow access to a customer service agent at present. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day or what day of the week it is; I am unable to connect through to their customer service department. I have tried several of their various telephone numbers and I am still unable to get a connection to them.

I cannot discontinue service that my mother no longer wants. I have a monthly bill that I am charged(which is always paid on time). I feel that I am being ripped off.

Do you have any suggestions?
