I live in the US and ordered an international cell phone for rental for an upcoming trip to the Caribbean. I was never told when I ordered, nor was it in the rental agreement, that the phone number they give you is UK based.

What this means is that people who are trying to reach you have to make an international call to a cell phone that has a UK (England) phone number (with +44) prefix.

They provide an option to call forward to your US based cell phone but they don't provide the information up front. They issue different equipment if you're call forwarding, therefore if you need to switch once they've sent the equipment and you've paid the $22 shipping fee you'll lose time and money on another shipment.

When I asked for a refund of my $22 shipping fee since I sent it straight back without activating, they wouldn't issue a credit. Their customer service people are representative of the classically bad customer service found throughout the UK.

STAY AWAY -- they're bad news!
