Complaint Review: WorldVentures

 I made the unfortunate mistake of joining this scammy organization. I was led to believe that for the fee of $365 one time I could get discount travel...NOT... and possibly make some extra money. Howerever AFTER they charged my card for the $365 was when I was informed there was a $55 monthly fee which would be waived if I found 3 people to sign up. Yeah right. Well all of a sudden my account was charged today for $65.98!! So now, not only doI have this monthly fee to pay, it is now even more! We live on a fixed income. My husband is a disabled veteran.

So I contacted the company requesting a full refund  of the monthly fee and the original charge of $365 because they misrepresented the terms of the monthly fee by non disclosure untill after our card was charged the $365 and then raising the monthly fee to boot!!! They then sent me an email stating that they would refund the $65.98 but that was it. I replied back to them stating that no, I wanted all the money back because they lied and never told us about the monthly fees up front...and I have witnesses.

The company blocked my emails. So I called the office and Rachel a brainless idiot rudely informs me that it's too bad, because they are not responsible for what a rep tells a person when they sign them up. I asked if the initial fee was collected by their company, she said yes, and I said well if you're collecting the money then you are responsible. She laughed. Well she won't be laughing for long because I reported her and the company to the Texas Attorney General. My bank is going to remove the charge from my card. Hopefully it will stay off.  What a bunch of low lifes. :(
