We were contacted by Steve, who mentioned he had 2 to 3 buyers lined up for our timeshare. The amount they were willing to pay sounded too good to be true, more than 4 times what we had it listed for, and it had not sold in over 2 years already. They mentioned that they could send us a contract, and to get the process going, and to show the buyers we were serious, we would have to give them a credit card number so they could charge $1997 in fees. If we did not like the contract one simple phonecall would get the money refunded. The contract we got send home was a joke, just another way to draw money out of our pocket to list our timeshare again. We did not sign it, and called multiple times ith Worldwide Marketing Solutions to get the money refunded to our credit card. We finally went directly through Visa to get this done, through which the refund was arranged. Then we suddenly did get called by Robert from Worldwide Marketing Solutions. He wanted to clear things up. He was rude, interupted me constantly, called me names that were pretty close to accusing me of scamming them etc etc. I hung up, called back a few minutes later to see if I could actually make my statement, but the same situation acured. Be aware, the web shows many websites listing this company as a scam, with very similair encounters we described here.
