We contracted Worldwide Relocations to ship our goods from Seattle, WA to Wellington, New Zealand in October of 2004. We paid their initial quote of ~$2300.
About a month ago, they called us to say that our goods had arrived in Wellington port, but that we needed to pay an additional $1400 in shipping costs, which we did. I was assured that we would have our goods within a week. After hearing nothing from them after a week, I repeatedly called them to find out the status of our goods, but they always stalled for time.
I started my own line of inquiry with the moving company who was subcontracted by Worldwide Relocations to come and pack our goods. They informed me today that our goods are still sitting in their warehouse in Tacoma, WA.
I am so mad that they are getting away with scamming so many people!! I have files with all the bureaus that people have recommended on this site, and strongly urge everyone who hasn't to do so as well. The more people screaming at them, the better chance we get!
