Following is a copy of the email I sent to Worthpoint after realizing they had charged me for a subscription and their final reply after I had sent several emails  On their site they offer PayPal which is how they charged me.

"Dear Support Team:

I am in my second day of a trial membership.  When at your site, it asked me to do something with my subscription so I could see the price.  The next thing I know, my account has been charged $19.99.  The seven days are not up.  I thought I was letting the site know that I was activating my trial subscription not a definite signing up.  This is not right.  Please refund my $19.99.  I cancelled my subscription immediately but it did not say anything about a refund.  The trial time is not up.

Thank you for your consideration and prompt attention to this matter."

Anita B. replied:

Greetings,

We have in fact received every email. During your the registration process you acknowledged our “terms and conditions.” We also forwarded a welcome letter on the date you created your account, reiterating the 7day/7items to research trial, the recurring fee and the effective start date.

When you have reached the 7 items that you can research for free, you are prompted by the pop up box that clearly states that you are activating your paid account. Per our terms and conditions, a credit is not due on this account at this time. The good news is that it has been canceled and will not continue to be billed.

 My final email:

Dear Support Team:

Evidently I did not read the fine print.   The insidious method you use to obtain members is extremely
disappointing.  It says to me that you don't operate your business with integrity and you are desperate for money.

Thank you for finally replying to my email requests.
