Signed up for a free movie poster, just pay .99 shipping, with a subscription to Wozo movie posters. Picked out poster, filled in name, address and debit card info.

At no time did anything come up telling me exactly what the subscription was, how it worked, or how much it cost. I kept waiting for something to tell me that, but it just checked me out and that was it. I had no idea if I had an account that I could access, or if I was going to get an email confirmation, which I never did, or anything.

When I found a $29.99 charge on my bank acount, I tried to find somewhere on the internet where I could access their site. The only thing I found was the same page that I originally used to sign up on, and there is no contact info at all. I found a different site that offered coupons from Wozo, and went there and they had a link to the Wozo home page, where I found a phone #.

They claim I agreed to the terms and conditions, but I don't remember doing so. I kept waiting for something like that to pop up, telling me what the terms were. They said that for the $29.99 a month charge, they would send me 2 posters, of their choice to me. If I had known that, I never would have agreed to it, and I would not have agreed to that price.

I was under the assumption that I would be able to pick out the posters I wanted. I also assumed that I would have some kind of account, with a password, etc., and be able to access their site.  This is one of the most deceptive offers I have ever encountered on the internet. They claim to have canceled my subscription, although they will not refund my money, and say they have already sent me posters that I probably don't want.

Bank is closed today, but I will be going in tomorrow to make sure that I don't get charged again from them. The charge overdrew my account, and as I'm on a fixed income, there is nothing I can do about it until next month.  If I had known how much and when they were going to charge me, and I wanted it, I would have made sure the money was in the account, and not overdrawn myself, which leads to more charges.

Unwanted posters and no exchange provided.

Got 2 of the 3 posters I was supposed to get. One was the one I picked out, and as suspected, the other was of a movie that I would 'never' have picked out, and do not want. I called them again, to verify that my subscription had been cancelled, and they said it was.

When I asked if I could exchange the unwanted poster, they said no, there was nothing they could do about it, I should give it away as a present or sell it on ebay. Was transferred to a supervisor who told me the same thing, then advised me that if I had called them before the posters were sent, I could have picked what I wanted. Well, the posters were apparently sent before I even knew about it. Again, information that was not included in the sign up form.

Another thing I realized was that, when I picked out the original poster, it, along with all the other posters were advertised as being $9.99 + .99 postage, and all I had to pay was the shipping. The unwanted poster I got was one that was also on the list to pick from, but now they are charging $15 for it ( 2 posters for $29.99), and it is the same size as the one I picked out, not larger or better in any way.  Can't wait to see what other poster I don't want will come, if it does.

The bank was very helpful and did not charge me the overdraft fee, and are conducting their own investigation.
