WQ Long Distance billed my credit card for 4 months use on a calling card. They claim I authorized it by telephone giving my credit card number. For one thing, I never give my credit card number out on the telephone and secondly, did not authorize this transaction.

My initial call was in January 2004 stating I did not authorize such a calling card and requested a refund since I had a $59.78 billing each month for four months. At that time, they refunded one $59.78 still owing for three more months.

Since January 2004, I have telephoned this company weekly requesting the status of my refund. Each time, I was advised that they had a problem with the company that was in charge of dispersing refund checks. Then, they had hired a second company to take charge of refunding checks. This company is apparently running behind schedule since no check received. Also, I was put on a list to be called to advise when I might expect the check (wrong, never called). Sales people spoken to were Jason, Paul, Josh, Jason, and Dolly (supv). Money due is $179.34.
