WQN STOLE A TOLL-FREE NUMBER FROM ANOTHER COMPANY! On July 2, 2015, I purchased a pay as you go toll-free number from my800online, a subsidiary of WQN, Inc. The number was for an adoption, so I did not expect a lot of calls. On August 17, 2015, I found out the number was not working. When you called, it said this number has been compromised. I called customer service and they told me the system was being upgraded and they could not find my account. They would let tech support know and try to fix the problem. I called every day for four days speaking to supervisors and managers to try to get this resolved and everyone told me they were working on it. After four days, I received an email from WQN stating that since there was no usage for the past 30 days, the number was released. I called another company to try and transfer the number. I found out that NovaTel was the responsible organization for the toll-free number, and they told me 800.com owned the number. I spoke with 800.com and they told me the number was stolen! NovaTel was able to retrieve the number in 5 minutes and transfer it to 800.com. I never received my money back from my800online!
