Wright Leasing 2006 expedition taken under false pretenses, take over payments means dissappear with your vehicle. Fort Worth Texas
In 2007 I had my 2006 Expedition for sale, then out of nowhere comes Wright Leasing to save the day. Their first email clearly stated that they had a contract that allow them to take over payments, and they have their own insurance and I just walk away. Wright Leasing made payments for about 6 months, then they started to make late payments and my credit union started calling me about the truck payments, so I started calling Wright Leasing asking what the problem was, and why the payments were late!
They said it wouldn't happen again. So the following month the same thing happened, no payment. So I call them again and this time no answer return emails, nothing! So then my credit union closed my accounts which I had 2 other vehicles financed with them and were taken away because of what they call collateral loss. I think they are still in the Dallas/FortWorth area. The contract he sent me was apparantly a contract used for Real Estate not for purchasing of vehicles. I did not know that. The 2006 Expedition has probably been leased to another indivdual, which has no idea what they are getting into with a vehicle that doesn't belong to Wright Leasing. This is fraud and is against the law in the State of Texas. I'm looking for this vehicle. I have contacted the Sheriff regarding this matter.
I know that other individuals have been victimized by Wright Leasing and we need to put and end to this. And there are people in the car business that know of this company and how they work, and where to find this person but won't do anything about it.
Yes we should know better by investigating if the company is licensed, but sometimes it happens.
Let's try to fix this so nobody else gets burned.

Yes, he did the same thing to me. Yes, i feel like an idiot for not doing more research.
The more and more I find, the more and more I want to find this guy and make sure he gets what he has coming to him.
He deserves to go to hard core PRISON for what he has done to people.
He has several civil judgements against him. Just in tarrant county alone, Micheal R Gee has been sued several times in civil court. For the most part, for under $10,000.
The judgements have all been the same. 5% interests and court costs, lawyer fees.
But there is nothing to put a lien on, nothing to get ahold of. There is no way to collect on this dirt bag and he knows it.
I called him out on it. He told me to hire a lawyer and try to collect. To get in line!
Forget civil court, he deserves another shot at criminal court. This time it needs to stick.
