Wrightway Building & Remodeling Michael Wright Fraudulent Business Practices, Steals Money, Doesn't do work Windsor Vermont

Like all con men, Michael Wright tells you everything you want to hear. And like all victims of con men, me and my 93 year old mother just wanted to believe he was capable of painting our house. He told us he had already purchased materials. We wanted to believe he would get the job done, so we sent him $1,000. That proved to be a big mistake. Everything he told us was lies. Then he stole our money. Don't make the same mistake. If this guy tells you he can do a job for you , he's lying. Give him money and he will steal it just like any other common thief. Stay away from this guy. If he will steal from a 93 year old great grandmother, he'll steal from you.  He's scum.

Anyone who is considering hiring this guy to do anything should just read the words he wrote.

 1. He admitted taking the money

2. He admitted he didn't do the work

3. He considers sending back my mother's $1,000 "being nice".

And look at the silly ways he tries to justify why he won't refund the money my mother paid for work he did not do. Then ask yourself, do you really want to do business with someone like that?

This sight makes it so easy to bash people.  The fact is I never met the customer because he wanted to do all business through mail. Then he never signed and returned a copy of the contract. In the contract it never stated a start up date nor a finish date. The customer knew that I was extremely busy. the customer btw is not a 93 year old woman but a man from mass who is actually a slumlord. Now I did receive a deposit from the customer and told them an estimated start date. Due to rain that date was pushed back. The customer then decided to add more work onto the deal than was originally quoted and I agreed to do the extra work for FREE because of the delay. I then gave the customer a new start up date. He was unhappy with that date and wanted to cancel our business relationship. I explained to him that I would send back the deposit once I received a hand signed copy of the cancelation notice I sent him to cover my butt so he couldn't come back and say I still owe him the work. The customer refused to do so and then continued to threaten me saying that he would be hunting me down and hurt me and blah blah blah.  So why should I be nice to a slumlord who lies and slanders me on the internet?
