Complaint Review: Writer's Edge

On May 12, I ordered two pens as gifts from their website.  Immediately received an email that the items were in stock and would ship within 1-2 business days and the item would be received in 4-10 business days, quicker if I selected "USPS Priority Mail" which I did.

By May 27, the items were not received and I sent an email to their customer service.  This went unanswered.

On June 1, I sent a second email to customer service and to the company owner inquirying about the status of my order.  No response receive.

On June 6, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of West Florida.

On June 8, I sent a final email to the company, indicating I had filed a complaint and would not recommend the business to anyone.

On June 10,my items arrived, having been shipped on June 8.  On the receipt was a note to "Karen" stating that the original package had been returned damaged by USPS and could a replacement be sent out ASAP.  Coincidentally, my credit card was not charged until June 8 and the item shipped only after the complaint was filed.

Do not do business with Writer's Edge.  No customer service at all.
