WUYI TEA, Insiders Serets Guide, Comprehensive Weight Loss tea, tips, weight loss California California
I would like to bring to the consumers' attention what happened to me. I ordered promotional tea from WUYI TEA on line and gave my credit card info for $4.95 or close to that amount it was minimal. Next thing what starts happening I am charged $74.00US per month for additional tea (I hadn't even opened the package yet before this started)
I receive my credit card account and I am being charged $9.95US per month for membership from the Comprehensive Weight Loss (never even heard of this company) (never signed any membership agreement) and $4.95US from Insider Secret Guide to tips and this is also a monthly fee.
When I called and enquired both separately informed me that since I placed an order and I agreed to the order I automatically signed up for these two items. I do not sign up for a $15.00US per month fee for anything. We know and agree that no one really reads the fine print BUT if there are charges being made on a monthly basis I think it should be made VERY VERY clear and up front.
Both companies have cancelled my membership and fees but they would only credit one months fee even though I have been charged for two months and the reason I don't know about the second month is because I haven't received my credit card statement which is 30 days after the fact.
I insisted that both months be reversed and all they said is that I agreed. The consumer should not A be subjected to these types of charges on an ongoing basis unless they SIGN for it and B this is bull**** and very underhanded. Three companies involved all of them, one is working off the other.If I want to order tea off the internet then and all I want is tea not membership and tip hot line and if I want to become a member or receive tips then I will sign up for tips but that its done underhanded and deliberately to cheat the consumer.
As the saying goes consumer beware and in this case the WUYI TEA Company is definitely a cheater!
