As I made an order from Amazon that included Third-Party Mechants, Amazon displayed to me at the time of purchase the costs including no shipping costs.
Later when I started to recieve email acknowledgements the Third-Party Shipping Costs started to build up such as Figgs for a 9.50 candy bar I paid 17.50 which included 1.44 in taxes and 6.95 in shipping costs. Then Lands End sent thiers. Needless to say Amazon's statement is Oh well. My statement is Never Again.

Since when does Amazon have free shipping and no tax!

Since when does Amazon have free shipping and no tax as you state in your report? And also since when do candy bars cost $9.50? The last time I checked, they were 3 CANDY BARS FOR ONE DOLLAR at the grocery store. If you needed a candy bar mailed to you so badly, next time let me know. I will mail you one for only $8, and I won't charge you shipping either. OK, getting serious now ...

Looking at the Amazon web site, $6.95 is the cheapest shipping price, and that includes merchandise up to $25.00 in total. If you order something that is $24.95, you will pay $6.95 shipping. Also if you order something that is $0.49 you will STILL pay $6.95 shipping. In other words, you should have stocked up on several of those expensive candy bars, as shipping would still have been $6.95 for up to $25 of bars. It is YOUR responsibility to be sure of the shipping charges BEFORE you place your order. If you are ever in doubt, pick up the phone and call the company directly. The bottom line is your irresponsibility is not a rip off. Better luck next time!

OK - At some point in your life you need to take responsibility for your actions.

1) What kind of a moron would go on the internet and buy a "Candy Bar"? Every corner stor has them.

2) Who the hell would be stupid enough to pay $9.50 for a candy bar?

3) Why, after doing this idiotic thing, would you then put it out for the world to see?

4) Enjoy your $9.50 candy bar (plus shipping and handling) - Maybe you learned a lesson here - -

Probably not.
