I bought a Canon G9 digital camera for $349.00 online. For ordering online I was suppose to "Receive a free digital flash, full size tripod, lens cleaning kit, LCD screen cover & 512 MB pen drive w/your order".

The next day Chris from best price cameras calls to tell me that the camera I bought doesn't come with a battery and would I like to purchase a OEM (Canon)four hour battery. Chris stated that they had a deal on batteries that if I bought one the second one was free.

I told him I would like the batteries and asked for a total price. Chris beat around the bush for a long time trying to sell me extended warranties, etc. So, before he hung up I asked what my total would be, he stated $568.00 which was far from what the original price was $349.00. Chris hung up before I could say anything.

So, I called him right back and asked what made the price so high from the original. He stated that the first battery I bought cost $154.00 I stated that his ad stated 89.00 and the second battery was free. He lied to me an stated that the batteries where OEM and I couldn't buy them off e-bay any cheaper. I looked on e-bay and found that a OEM canon battery cost about $60.00.

So, I asked if I could just cancel my order since it hadn't been processed yet and Chris stated that there would be a $125.00 cancelation fee. So, I said can I just cancel the batteries and he stated yes and I asked him for the total and he gave me $417.00 I asked what the differnce was for he said that there was a $34.00 shipping insurance and $34.00 processing fee, even though his ad stated free shipping.

I told him I didn't see any of that on his site and that he was getting to me for $68.00 anyway I agreed. However when I got the bill he had charged my credit card with $568.00. When I received the camera the factory box it came in had a battery and charger in it from the factory which means he lied about the camera not coming with a battery. And I only got one battery for the $154.00 and it was a Access2000 brand after market that sells on e-bay for $22.00 and I didn't get any of the free stuff they said I was going to get for ordering online.

I contacted them by e-mail three time with no response and when I called I was given the run around and told someone would get back in contact with me but never did. I am filing a complaint with my credit card company.
