I purchused an Arris modem from this site.  When I placed my order I was under the understanding that I was ordering a new modem, there was no indication otherwise on the page.  The Modem that was sent to me was not only used but the warranty seal was broken on the product.  The address listed on the website appears to come back to some residental neighborhood in Lehi, Utah and the phone number for "tech support" goes to some random computer store.  There is no address listed on the site as to where to return the fraudulant item that they send out. Dont buy from this site.

NO NAME, ORDER NUMBER, MODEL NUMBER to verify this is an actual buyer?

We are very sorry to hear that this individual had a poor expericence as we would be happy to investigate further as to the complete details as to what happened.  However, the customer does not provide a name or order number or evern so much as to what specific item he purchased?  All of our descriptions will list the items condition for the buyer to review as please provide the items decription where you claim the item was listed to be new and was not?  As purely basing the condition on the price that was paid is not fair as everybody had a differen't perceived value as opposed to the actual condition listed.  We offer one of the best warranties in the industry of up to 6 months so I can assure you we are not trying to pull a fast one on anyone as for most of our modems with that kind of warranty the worst a customer can do is break even off of if they were paying the lease fees instead.

The individual contradicts himself where he says that there is no address listed on our website, but then proceeds to say that he found an address that "shows as some neigborhood in Lehi, UT" of which is absolutely false as we have nothing to do with that city.   Than buyer proceeds to say that our phone number goes to "some computer store" which again we have no idea what number he called, what computer store he is talking about, or if this customer actually even made a purchase from us or if he is confusing us with another vendor or if this is just a competitor listing this review as slander/libel to serve their own conflict of interest.

We demand that "Rip off Report" provide any such info as a name, order number, product ordered, or something to verify the legitimacy of this complaint so that we have a chance to resolve and make right with the customer if he was in fact a customer and this is now a phony review?
