 I contacted this company a month ago and paid a $200 flat fee to have them list my house on the MLS. After never hearing back from them I contacted them and was told someone would be in contact with me which never happened. So I waited another week and finally I asked for a refund, in which I was told would be handled within 48 hours. That never happened so I contacted them the following week and was told that I would receive a refund sometime that week and was rudely hung up on. I waited a full week and contacted the company again but this time reached out to a different contact within the company.

However I was contacted back by the same and only employee that this company appears to have. She informed me that they only do refunds a couple days a week and due to the amount of unhappy customers they don't have funds to refund everyone. She also gave me a different name, "Mary" at first and then informed me that she was actually Jeannie but gives people a different name on the phone because they get so angry with her that if she gives her real name people hunt her down on Facebook and complain because they are so unhappy with services being received.

I informed her that this was completely unprofessional and that I expected my money back today or I will contact an attorney, she did not care at all that her company is so unprofessional or that customers are so upset and again rudely hung up on me. Run away from this company as far away as you can. They operate under two different websites, www.byownermls.com and www.mlsmyhome.com

Apparently Sharon is the only employee that they have at the company. Whether chat, phone, email, its always Sharon saying she is going to process my refund that I submitted over a month ago. Everytime I follow back up, they state the accounting department isn't in the office and they will leave them a message when they get in. I never get the refund or a follow up email as promised. For all I know, this is a company run out of "Sharon's" basement, just hoping no one requests a refund. If you aren't going to do as you say, why not just say there is no refunds after you sign up? That would be much better than lying to customers who are thinking that they are working with an ethical and truthful company. Really a shame. Hopefully they enjoy the $100 since they clearly need it so badly.

 It's funny that you take the time to respond to my rip off report instead of doing your job, which is to list people's houses on the MLS after you take their money. You're a liar if you try to say that your company paid me back. You took my money in July and after 5-10 conversations promising to have it refunded that day, here we are over 3 months later with no refund but a growing list of people who are complaining about your company and it's fraudulent and deceitful practices. You don't take people's money for a service and then not provide the service. You don't list on your website that there is a money back guarantee when you won't or can't afford to pay people back. You don't make promises to paying consumers that you can't or know you won't keep. You don't design your website to deceive people, with no physical address or way to contact you when you rip them off. That tells me as a consumer that you're willingly and knowingly practicing business in a fraudulent, deceitful and unlawful way. You don't make a company and continue to operate that company when you know you can't provide the services or pretend you will give people their hard earned money back and then don't. And you don't just tell people what they want to hear to get them off your back, hoping that none of them have the money or time to sue you. You should be shut down. Time for your company to close. And there are hundreds of others you ripped off that agree with me and are willing to do what it takes to see that happen. Sharon, Mary, Jeannie, Hattie E. Smith or whatever other aliases you use to deceive people. What kind of real estate company has their employees use fake names? Only the ones who know they are going to have upset customers and only those trying to hide from the repercussions. Frauds! You will refund me.

 This is why we don't give out our names we do apologize it took us 30 days to refund you but yes we can only so many a day but to put our employees name on the Internet us not necessary. They are doing what is asked.
