iPhone Lafayette are SCAM ARTIST under numerous investigations for willful copyright infringement, and intentionally and knowingly trafficking counterfeit goods. No surprise to us locals who have used this place in the past.
I personally had my motherboard exchanged on my iPhone 4 without my consent! From what I gather, they were doing this to get phones with older firmwares to be later put into another phone so it could be jailbroken and sold for more money. I was told my phone needed to be updated, which was a lie, they just wanted to steal my iPhones motherboard for the firmware. Something I can never get back!
I know numerous local people who have become a victim to these scam artist. They are still in business today and continuously taking advantage of innocent people despite being under investigation by ICE and Homeland Security.
