About 3 years ago, I took out a student loan through American Educational Services in PA.  I'm still enrolled in school, and this Windham Professionals started calling my home, my cell phone, and most recently at my workplace.  As no one calls me at work, I advised my staff to tell anyone that calls asking for me that I no longer work there.  When I took out the loan, I NEVER gave my work number on anything, and how they got my work number, I have no idea.  I told them they need to get any information regarding my loans from AES.  They told me it wasn't their job and were demanding payment on a loan that is in deferrment.  I eventually told the person on the phone with Windham Professionals to F themselves, and hung up the phone.  Never give any information.  If they put you on hold, like someone said, they will put you on mute to see what kind of information they can get while listening.  If they do this, just hang up.  They try to be slick...don't fall for it.  They are nasty and rude, and have no business being called professional...they don't know the meaning.  Be smart...don't fall in to any traps.

One guy called, told my wife he was returning my call...I had never called anyone from there so there I know he was lying...they won't listen to any of your requests, and they will tell you they will keep calling wherever they have a number regardless if you tell them to stop.  If it continues, file a harrassment suit against them.  They have no right to harrass you at work, and risk your job.  Again, be smart.
