Bought my used vehicle w/warranty in Oct. 2002. July 2003 the water pump and the surpentine belt went out. The extraordinarily long contract eliminated my repair under "covered parts",so my mechanic went ahead & repaired my vehicle.

August 2003, my alternator went out. I went to the contract again & it was listed under non-covered parts. I called a Wynn rep and asked what in the world WAS covered. She read with me the following, "For convenience, the Covered Parts are listed next to the vehicle systems to which they relate. The vehicle systems listed are NOT covered parts." It lists 14 items 2 of which was what I had,& listed as not being covered.

The rep read it again at least twice and said, "oh yes, they HAVE left out a word; it should read, "for convenience, the covered Parts are listed next to the vehicle systems to which they relate. The vehicle systems NOT listed are not covered parts".

I got reimbursed and a nasty letter from VP Paul F. Guelmes after my atty contacted them. I told them to clairfy the contract to read correctly. I don't know if they did. My contract expires in a few thousand miles; I will not be renewing with Wynn's. They are not nice to deal with.
